The Bishop Leibold Annual Fund
We extended our streak in Fiscal Year 2024 of seven consecutive years of reaching or exceeding our Annual Fund goal. This year we raised $81,500 toward our $80,000 goal!

Thanks to all of this success, our two year enrollment growth, and the reality that many BLS families are now paying less tuition thanks to the EdChoice Scholarship, we are therefore setting a much more ambitious goal for Fiscal Year 2025 of $120,000.

The Annual Fund is used primarily to support our efforts to enhance staff compensation to become more competitive in the marketplace. It also enables us to make investments in our campuses and resources as well as expand financial aid and support important student activities.

If you have previously given to our Annual Fund, please consider increasing your gift by June 1, 2025. If you are not yet a contributor, please join the ranks of those who are providing such vital unrestricted support to our annual operations.

Scholarship Granting Organizations (SGO)
A Scholarship Granting Organization (SGO) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that receives contributions from donors and grants educational scholarships to eligible students in Ohio. Individuals and entities that contribute to SGOs participating in the program can receive a tax credit. The Archdiocese of Cincinnati Foundation for Catholic Education (also known as The Catholic Education Foundation for the Archdiocese of Cincinnati or CEF) has been certified by Ohio as a scholarship-granting organization (SGO). Donors can designate their contributions to benefit Bishop Leibold.
Ohio taxpayers who donate to SGOs may be able to claim a dollar-for-dollar, non-refundable* tax credit on their state income tax return for up to $750 per donor (up to $1,500 if married and filing jointly). (See section 5747.73 of the Ohio Revised Code.)

DONATE TO A SGO
Consult with your tax advisor to determine (1) your eligibility for the tax credit, (2) its value to you, and (3) the details of your gift. You can make a gift online or by sending in a check, along with this form. With either method, please ensure that you note Bishop Leibold School as your selected entity. Shortly after your gift has been received and processed, CEF-SGO will mail a gift acknowledgement letter to you. This letter can serve as documentation for a non-refundable* Ohio income tax credit (up to $750 per donor across all SGO donations for the tax year) when you prepare your Ohio income tax return.
A tax professional will be able to advise you on the Ohio tax credit and whether or not your gift is eligible as a charitable contribution on your federal income tax return.
