Thank you for your interest in being a part of the BLS Theatre Club! Our club runs from the Fall - Spring with a moderate level of commitment. We will be spending the year preparing for our Spring musical which, this year, is Peter Pan Jr.! The show dates are March 7th-8th.

Theatre Club is open to students with the desire to be an actor on stage, or a member of the crew backstage.

Your student will be expected to attend all show dates, as well as Tech Week rehearsals which will be after school March 3-6. These dates are mandatory for all students involved in the club as they are essential to a successful show, which we spend most of the year preparing for. Students grades 1-8 are welcome to register!

We will have rehearsals throughout the year beginning at the end of September. Most weeks, the commitment will be about 1 day a week through Christmas break, unless you are a lead actor, then it may be 2 days some weeks. As we get closer to March, the commitment may be 2-3 days a week. Commitment for the stage crew members will be less between September and January.  Please do your best to have your student attend as many rehearsals as they are able. If there are students missing excessive amounts of rehearsals, a re-cast may be necessary, as we want to be fair to the rest of the students in the cast.

After you register, you will begin hearing about auditions and how best to prepare! If you are not ready to pay for your registration today, please be ready to pay after auditions. Scripts can only be given out to students that have paid.
